Wow, all subs, all heel hooks, in under a minute, versus competitive grapplers. I think the word specialization is appropriate. Very impressive.

Wow, Eddie Cummings makes 66kg? Wasn't he at 77kg at the West Virginia trials?
Yeah he was at 77kg in WV and lost to Cocco in the finals. I'm glad he's at 66kg assuming the cut wasn't too bad. A 77kg placement would mean he'd likely have to fight Garry Tonon in the first match. I don't know if Tonon has officially been invited or not but I'm assuming he will be.
His finals match hasn't been posted yet, but he defeated Walter Gomez by armbar from the closed guard.

So smooth and so much fun to watch this guy. Really impressive game.

Eddie Looked real sucked in at the trials. Glad he was able to rehydrate and pull it out. His first match was close, and I think its due to the weight cut. He's a super nice guy. It was a pleasure meeting him.
That is the most exciting line up I have ever seen for that weight class. Can't wait to see all of these guys go at it. Geo, Eddie, Glover, no chance of boring fights.
Wow Eddie looked smooth and relaxed even when taken down, but Gomez appeared to be frantic and not do anything to really try to pass his guard. As for the lineup, WOW this tournament is going to be awesome to watch. I truly cannot wait to watch.
That was a nice match Sean...your guard retention game looked great!

I love Sean's story of the communication with the ref on the sound the heel hook made. "Sounded like a phone book ripping" I think were his exact words. I guess some dudes don't care about their ligaments/tendons?
