I'm so proud of those guys. What an experience for those youngsters. From getting their body cavities searched at the border to winning medals at Grapplers Quest....AWESOME! Wish so badly that I could've been there!
Me too. Its amazing that after being violated like that by boarder police they could still keep it together mentally.
Mike just called me from Boston. Telling me that Sam was dominating his opponents with the Electric Chair!!! I'm so proud of him. We've discussing and drilling half guard a lot in class recently. So happy that it all came together in competition!

Hey guys, it was really awesome to meet Mike Romano and Sam. Scott Yockel and I (10th Planet JJ Rochester) got there just in time to see Sam's first match. Scott Yockel cornered Sam in his first two matches and he did awesome. Dominating both of his opponents with his Lockdown, EC Sweep and points. Then for the first place match Eddie came over and cornered Sam! His opponent was totally amazed! Unfortunately Mike Wacker was the Ref and he will never award advantage for an EC submission attempt. I had some extra tickets I was trying to sell and just really wanted to share the love with our new friends from Montreal. I am super psyched to be able to give Mike and Sam two tickets to UFC 118.
Now you guys better get signed up for the Eddie Seminar in Rochester September 18th!!!

It was great seeing the montreal guys in boston. both mike and sam did great. Louis you have done great beating the half guard into Sam and he follows instruction from his corner very well also. Hope to see you guys next month!!
