Unknown technique
Hi guys !
I have seen a guy from 10th planet who did a technique I have never seen before and it's impossible to find it on YouTube or MTS. I'll try to explain it but it's a bit complicated. The opponent passes my guard. then being under the guy I grab my leg like a rubber guard and I close in triangle with my second leg. The guy who is above and who has passed my guard is strangled with my arm. It is difficult to explain. in fact it is a strangulation when the guy passes us guard a bit like an inverted triangle ... I would like to know the name of this technique to know the details if it is visible on MTS. It was very effective. Thank you.

Sounds like you could be referencing the Buggy Choke, but not sure...Google it and let us know. If not, more detail.

Gary, he said he closes a triangle with his second leg? I don't think the buggy choke uses the second leg. We need more details. What guard is he passing? Where does he end up?
-
I have watched buggy choke and its not that ( is it really effective  ) I have watched kraken choke too and its more that but not exactly.
Ok I'll try To explain better...
I have my back on the mat. The opponent is on me. He has passed my guard. He is on side control. his legs are to my left and his head to my right. I pass my left leg over his back and head and grab my ankle with my right hand like a rubber guard. my right forearm is against his neck (on the right side to his neck) my right leg closed the triangle and he is strangled. I hope its better.

I've figure-foured my legs like a triangle with the buggy choke in to get more leverage before, that's why I was thinking maybe that was what he was doing...but still not enough info. I do mine slightly different than what I've seen others do though. Need pix or a vid. And the buggy choke can be effective if you can catch them, if not, then you run the risk of putting yourself in a bad spot and you're just stuck.

OK so what you're describing is like Invisible Collar but they are in side control and you triangle the leg??? I've seen this before in a video. Maybe Ben Eddy???
-
Nope, bottom side control when they have head and arm control. Throw your head side arm over and deep hook your head side leg at the knee (elbow to knee)...then your hip side leg triangles your head side leg. This is what I'm envisioning him referencing when he said "strangle him with my arm" while being in a bottom side rubberguard while triangling his legs. I think...who knows. But above is what I do with the buggy choke.

This is hilarious, us trying to breakdown this description... So he's on bottom... Opponent on top side but head on his right... We're assuming head & arm control... So he goes right wrist to left ankle but he says "right forearm is against his neck (on the right side to his neck)" OK so not IC, it's like he cleared the neck... Then he throws his right leg over into a triangle... which if i'm picturing correctly, does nothing. Basically his forearm is putting pressure on the side of the neck? The guy is choking because he won't let go of head and arm?

LOL...I didn't even catch his latest update. I give up now. Need pix/vid.

Sounds like some Derek Rayfield bottom side control wizardry.
