What uhm.....what would you put down for submission on his mma record? lol
Two submission holds at once.
Rear naked plata
He tapped to the RNC I like to hit that when guys have flexible shoulders and wont tap to the omaplata
Thats good transitioning right there. One submission doesnt work move on to the next one in the chain. Very nice finish.
That was sick man! And I love how many punches he was able to get off without the other guy really being able to respond! The sub was awesome, I've seen Marcelo hit something similar, except it wasn't really an omo, just a one armed crucifix to a RNC.
This makes me warm and fuzzy inside
That was beautiful. I hadn't even though about a RNC if the omoplata fails.
Sort of like this courtesy of 10th Planet Montreal:

They use different arms to finish, not sure if far arm or near arm is better.
Guard pull, rubber guard and tights. I gotta remember dudes name, Sotaro Yamada.
Can anyone out there find anymore of his fights?
And was that Aoki in his corner?
man that was awesome from both videos shoudn't this have a name or something now since it been proven in mma and tournament or does it have one already
That was awesome.
Yes, one of Aoki's guys. Think he beat Ryan Hall a couple of years back.
Coil Lock / Omoplata to crossface or choke. I believe Gene LeBell has been teaching that for years, though obviously not as part of a Rubber Guard lockflow.
Think with the crossface, it was nicknamed the LeBell Lock and was used in WWE by Daniel Bryan.
Maybe call it a Jiu LeBell? off of the Jiu Claw, plus a tribute to a martial arts master.
According to my very limited Japanese, at least one of them have been learning new shit from Aoki. "Atari" means new, and Aoiki was mentioned in the same sentence, so I assumed he's been training with him?
Atarashii, I meant to type atarashii..! "Atari" means Bingo or something, haha!
here's another fight by him http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EBwljEKyUB8
fantastic suplex to being mounted lol
