I only saw the fights and didn't see the ring girls so I must say,

Hmmm... I think Galvao is just concentrating on a more MMA orientated attack on the ground, it seams to be that he is trying to teach himself to not go for the sub right away. But i think personally that he punched a bit to long without going for the choke...
Here is a link to Draculino's fight

not that exciteing of a fight
They lowered the rounds from 3 x 5 min rounds down to 3 x 3 minute rounds and told us only 3 days before the fight. Wasn't a lot of time to work..and after the first time Drac immediately took Rocky down when he through his first punch and put him in a heel hook..Rocky stayed away not wanting to commit to punches.
Kind of hard to get a guy to the ground who KNOWS you want it to go to the ground, and KNOWS your in a rush because you only have 3 minutes. Then once you get there....submit a sweaty guy whos NOT tired because its only three minute rounds especially when you've probably already taking half that time getting him there. (Not to mention his two big injuries he had while fighting)

Draculino Comments on Strikeforce Win
Quote:
“Man, now I can say. I fought against serious injuries before my fight. Meniscus and neck. Almost had to pull out due to a herniated disk on my neck.
But [i] could fight it, with the help of Dr. AJ Vasques, Dr. Lubor and Dr. Vu. and they let[got] me ready for the fight.
Fight was good. Rocky Long was [a] 45 fights veteran. Tough and strong guy. Really good boxer and hard to put on the ground. They cut my legs off on the decreasing of the rounds to three minutes rounds. I almost had a heart attack when they told me 3 days before the fight! But I did good. I think I would have submitted him with a little more time. I was in his back punching him and with his arm domminated and the choke was comming when the fight was over. But props to him. Really tough guy with lots of strengh.
I wanted to thank all the people who helped me on my training. My MMA coaches, Gordo, Soca, Renzo Gracie, Ricardo Almeida. My strengh and conditioning coach Kristen Sommers. My boxing coach Frank Adame. All my students from Gracie Barra BH and Gracie Barra Texas and Master Carlos Gracie Jr.”

How much would we pay to see Sean Bolinger vs Draculino in Strikeforce???
I would love to see that fight!!!!!! My money is on Sean!!!!!
That's really weak how they shortened the rounds like that. It's just unfair to everybody; the fighters and the fans.
How about Gus Johnson. After feijao finishes the fight with some nice Muay Thai Gus asks him to talk about his superior "boxing".
