Aaron, that thread doesn't say anything about training intensity. All it says is that I got a tooth put through my lip because I wasn't wearing a mouthguard.
You assumed (for some inexplicable reason) that we don't roll hard at our club. That is simply dead wrong.

Didn't mean to start anything crazy. Maybe we switch topics a bit and talk about getting inked and training? Not to generalize but I tend so see lots of ink on people rocking 10thPlanet gear. Would you agree with Kurt that getting ink on a thrusday will have you back on the mat by monday? He did qualify that a bit saying he's a fast healer and it depends on the size and type of work you've got.

My coaches cousin just won at Kurts tournament for the purple belt division.
Half the reason I don't get inked is because I've seen some people get some nasty infections by not letting them heal long enough.

Its not about this stuff. I think what Brandon is referring to, is how the bjj community hates on Eddie for the weed, tattoos, and party lifestyle. Kurt seems to do all of that and then some, but the community praises him. Of course there are underlying causes for their animosity, but they actually try to fall back on Eddie's lifestyle.
