Dead orchard
Ok I pulled off my first dead orchard today. It was awesome, but I had to trouble shoot a few times because the first few attempts I couldn't get my foot from the hip to over my foot smoothly. Any one have some recommendations on how to get that foot from the hip to triangling the legs easier? It seem to work better when I swung my leg out wide and came over the foot. Not sure if I'm articulating this so people can understand. Feed back please

The way I try to think of it is as your bringing the foot up off the hip, you're keeping constant contact sliding your leg along his arm while bringing your knee up to your ear. Once you have it all the way up you pump your knee inside as hard as you can to bring his arm across your chest, at the same time extending your leg to start locking up the triangle. What I've started doing more and more is trying to lock the shoulder first, then transition to the dead orchard when they try to pull out. Long legs help of course ;)
