This is a nice defense to the backstep pass :)
Doesnt that counter open u up to the guy on top getting the grapevine from twister side control kinda like the samurai slash trickster i use that alot give people quater guard and then ill fall back and grapevine my legs and twister roll right into the truck or the calf crank

Switch your leg positioning during transition and it left leg , if stepping over to left which is most common, becomes a butterfly and you simply sweep them or reset but it eliminates most of those passes I've found. Hope that helps
