Shield (1/2-g like Z, but the leg does not cross the body, it pushes the same-side shoulder away)
Inverted De La Riva - start in DLR, switch to your other foot on the same leg, like a mirror to your original DLR, and switch your ankle grip to the other hand. Great transitional guard to go from DLR to deep half, and many others, or to sweep.
Turtle - it's a guard, technically!
Single-leg X-guard - has like 50 names, but that is what Xande is calling it. Start in X, take your inside leg, wrap it behind and around the non-X-guarded leg of your opponent, and put the heel on his hip (in gi BJJ so that you don't get a DQ for knee reaping). It's been unbelievably effective since he showed us some new sweeps from there.
