Any 10th planet gyms in New York?

Hey everyone is there any 10th planet gyms in New York? I've always wanted to start BJJ never found a 10th planet location near me I thought about joining some other places since I couldn't find one and for some reason when I go ask around and talk to people who do BJJ they give me the feeling like they hate 10th planet guys or Eddie bravo even when I mention it they get kinda weird and start talking shit, one dude called me a "10th Planet Warrior" which was weird because i haven't done jiu jitsu yet but what ever screw that probably one reason why I kinda hold off on it and haven't join a gym yet but mostly because when i enlist in the military I have a good chance on getting stationed on a base that has a 10th planet gym around it so I'm definitely gonna do it once I get there but I'd start here if I could but never find information on it is there one here in New York?

There are heaps of gyms in New York, most gyms are pretty cool with 10th Planet these days. At least here in Australia, 10th Planet used to have a really bad rep, but recently with the guys like Kelvin Gastalum and other UFC fighters repping the 10th Planet system and Eddie's second match with Royler, people give the system the respect it deserves.

The only 10th Planet in NY is upstate in Rochester.

Thank you Michael J Hewson and Chris Herzog I live in the city in New York here in Manhattan I'm way to far to go to Rochester thanks for the information fellas but I guess I have to wait till I enlist or a 10th planet opens up here around the 5 boroughs.

I live in Brooklyn, and I have a couple of guys who come over to train 10th Planet techniques on Saturday nights at 6pm. We are not affiliated with 10th Planet. We don't have an actual instructor and none of us is qualified to teach the techniques. But we watch the MTS videos and we do our best to imitate what we see on the videos. DM if you're interested in joining us.

10th Planet Fairfield and 10th Planet Woodbridge are going to be the closest to you. It's worth taking the trek when you can to get full exposure to the system.

Especially considering you haven't really trained yet. Take advantage of exchanging knowledge from guys who train at legit schools. Marcelo's is as legit as it gets and it's a blessing to find a guy there willing to train 10p stuff specifically. That sucks that people gave you that reaction however they're not all like that. You have some world class schools in and around Manhattan. Enough so that I have traveled there in the past specifically for the #1 purpose of training. I would suggest training regardless of whether or not you can find a nearby 10p. It will ultimately benefit you to have that mat time in your bank when you find yourself stationed near a 10p in the future. You will not regret it later.

Hey Ric. Just wanted to ask if there's still an opportunity to roll with you guys

Hey guys thanks for all the information but I found a gym around my way here in manhattan I'd least start here until I can get to a 10th planet gym. Sorry I didn't reply faster I just noticed when I checked back
