Hello. I'm new to the forum so hi!
Just wondering, who here is in Seattle or Washington state and has a 10th planet background?
Lemme introduce myself. My name is Gordon and I moved to Seattle in February 2017. I'm a 10th planet purple under Adam Sachnoff of 10th planet San Mateo. I currently train at Mat Chess MMA.
I don't think there are many 10th Planet people in Seattle yet. A while back, we had a thread where people were trying to organize, but nobody has volunteered to lead the movement yet.

I'm in Seattle proper. I don't mind driving further if a bunch of us wanna meet up
10p Portland head instructor Phil Schwartz is setting up a 10p crew for a possible future moon in Seattle, hit him up

10P Seattle would be awesome. I've been wanting to start training, but there's only 1 bjj school in Kitsap, and currently, I can't afford it. I am a graphic designer, so when the time comes, I'd be happy to offer my services for any work the moon will need.
I hope a 10th Planet opens up in Seattle proper! Live in Belltown and work in Laurelhurst. No disrespect but I am not interested in rolling with a gi and would love a place I could roll no gi.

I live in the Seattle area (Issaquah). We have one of the two Gracie Academy places in the state, as well as a Gracie Barra, so there's definitely money and interest here. Please consider opening a 10p near us! :)
Open one please! I'm on Fort Lewis and would make the drive to Seattle happily.

Hey Seattlites. I just moved to the area 6 months ago. I also just started practicing BJJ, but was exposed to Eddie's Rubber Guard back in '07 to supplement my karate while training with MMA guys in Nebraska (under Will Ellis). Now that I'm west coast I plan to go down to visit Cali but would love to connect with 10th planet people here. I rent a space that could be good to use. Anyone want to meet up? Msg me.

Hey MJ, I see your school is listed as Praxis? If you're in Seattle proper, Gordon and I are going to start up some drilling sessions in Ballard in the VERY (probably mid/end of July) near future, we'll definitely be drilling warmups, seminar content, and probably the bits of 10PPDX curriculum we pick up on Sundays.Quote:
