God damn I wish I was American, I'd vote the shit out of that guy.
Eee FFF NNnnn AAAaaa Cotton!!!!
Ron Paul, The Constitution, Bill of Rights & The Declaration of Independence ALL DAY !!!
I like a lot a things Ron Paul says but he is a creationist...
He seems like one of the few that isn't bought by the corporations, but how can you vote for someone that in some cases chooses to deny scientific evidence in favor of religious beliefs...
America is getting scary, i really don't see anybody i would vote on. Both republicans and democrats are bought. Corporations shouldn't be allowed to donate to campaigns, till then voting is useless...
I recommend you guys watch this:

people should be entitled to their own beliefs in regards to science/religion, as long as they're not using those beliefs to make bias decisions. do you really think that your country would be worse off because this guy believes in something contrary to what you believe, when it doesn't really make any significant difference to anything in the long run?
I agree, people should definitely be entitled to their beliefs.
And my belief is that he will indeed make bias decisions, putting aside scientific evidence. How can you say that it won't really make any significant difference to anything in the long run? i mean who is more significant than the president of the united states?
Fuck ron paul
He needs to keep his old ass out of the race
We dont need another republican in office
He should change his view on equal rights which is more important than letting peoPle out of jail
listen if you think that america (the govt) will just say oh shit so and so are in office we need to quit being so corrupt and give up our baller status, you have officially smoked yourself retarded. congrats it's a goal I've been trying to obtain for awhile now. kudos.
ron paul : """ i would legalize HEROIN AND PROSTITUTES JUST TO SEE WHAT HAPPENS"""
hell to the YEAH !!!! =D
Ron Paul 2012!!!
what im trying to say is, so what if this guy believes in creationism? are there really that many important decisions that need to be made in regards to evolution/creationism, as a president? i can think of maybe one instance, which is what they teach kids in school, and im not sure if the president would be responsible for that decision anyway... so as far as I'm aware, his belief in creationism is irrelevant in regards to presidency, as long as he isn't some crazy trigger-happy crusader like Anders Breivik.. or.. george bush? lol
Oddly, I think Steven Colbert and his Super Pac are going to help shed light on truly, how damaging it can be to have cooperations paying for elections... Ron Paul being a creationist has nothing to do with his politics. I am not sure if I will even vote, let alone whether or not I am for or against Ron Paul, who knows if he is really a different kind of politician or just the same thing with a different illusion. BUT - his spiritual beliefs can't be held against him. Some people choose to have faith in things because it makes them feel centered, or in control of their fate, or maybe because they fear death, or maybe they are right, who knows... maybe science is all a lie (SEE: Pastafarian, my religious choice.) and maybe all scientific fact is a ruse by a higher power just to keep us guessing. I highly doubt that to be the case, but my point is a religious debate is irrelevant when we are trying to take the steps America needs to take in order to get itself to the financial and economic stability we had not long ago,
PS - I know very little about politics and I get a lot of info from Colbert and google - haha so I am sorry if any of this is offensive to anyone religious or politically minded. I don't usually talk about such topics... but I am bored.
In regards to evolution/creationism specifically probably not, and i doubt he would try to push something like having creationism taught at schools in science classes.Quote:

However this reflects a certain kind of mentality, that he is willing to put aside verifiable evidence in favor of his beliefs. He could easily make decisions about other topics non related with creationism with the same kind of mindset.
I don't agree with that as i explained above.Quote:
Ron Paul being a creationist has nothing to do with his politics.
I am not debating is religious choices, i couldn't care less what bedtime story he believes. However i can not vote for a president that basis his choices not on evidence and logic but on tradition or revelation.Quote:
religious debate is irrelevant
You know if everyone were at least secularist like all the founding fathers to keep church and state separate than yes your right it doesn't matter what his "beliefs" are but the truth is the majority of people have religious beliefs I believe there was a poll saying 20% of Americans don't claim to belong to a religion not that doesn't mean there atheist there are those fence sitters , so I do believe belief does not matter but only for a very small percentage of people I mean maybe Ron Paul who knows he might end up being another gay crack whore but people will for a fact still stand behind him just BECAUSE of his religious beliefs like they do with convicted priest ,ted haggard, abortion doctor killers maybe exaggerated a little lol but my point is sadly beliefs do matter especially in politics IMO since 80% of people will and DO vote based solely on beliefs ex:BUSH
I agree completely with Spinola
Deport all illegals and their damn babies that become legal for being born. To hell with them all. And fuck equal rights. who needs it. oh did I mention whites are now the minorities because of the population
It was never a white country to start off with, so don't complain. Instead of looking at immigrants and moaning, why not take a look at yourself for having ridiculous anti-everyone but white people views

These things don't exist and prob. not ever.
I'm just anti P.O.S. white's included
The planet Earth should have a vote since the damn U.S. wants to govern the world anyways
so basically you guys think hes gonna win an election just because he says hes gonna legalize drugs?
wow
Regardless of what he does/does not believe, is or isnt going to legalize, He is for freedom of choice over all. He believes that it is not the federal governments right to control anything regarding our personal beliefs/choice's. He has made that much clear. He may believe a creationist standpoint on things, but he recognize's the right to choose and be happy that should be inherent in all things. He is for less government and less war. http://www.youtube.com/user/RonPaul2008dotcom#p/u Watch anything from that channel and then tell us he's not at least a competent choice.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=A6a9549ZeqQ
Or any of that series of interviews.
Legalizing drugs maybe not be such a silly idea... Look at what the prohibition created... People will always find ways to get what they want and because of that you end up with a parallel economy, dudes making shit loads of cash and a trail of dead people...
Legalize drugs, regulate it, tax it...
Here in NZ prostitution is legal and the country ain't crumbling! Girls are off the streets they work and pay taxes, they have access to healthcare. I'd rather see my money going towards their health than paying to keep them and their customers in jail for something that silly...
I know legalizing drugs is a bit different than prostitution but the idea is the same. By taxing it and regulating it the government would make shit loads of money that could go towards much more needed areas like education, health...
Concerning Ron Paul's believes, well it shouldn't be taken in consideration. He seems like he's got his shit sorted.
Look at Portugal. http://www.scientificamerican.com/ar...riminalization
this fat fuck is an absolute idiot. what he explains as Ron Paul's biggest problem, is actually America's greatest asset, freedom of choice. if you don't like the laws of your state, you have the CHOICE to pack up and move to a state where your views match the laws each state has created.

I'm not saying legalizing is silly I'm saying every 4 yrs we all do this "oh this guy is awesome he'll change everything" no he'll get no money from corps. so we won't be seeing too much from him and what we will see is snipets and sound bites of outta context things about prostitution and creationism and scare both sides. It's the american way. I love the speeches but right now they're just words.
NO!!!!!!! he doesnt believe in equal rights!!!!!!
Doesnt believe in seperation of church from state
Jesus stop worrying about getting to legally smoke weed
The thing is though, that every single thing that has ever been put before Ron Paul in congress, no matter what committee he was a part of, has always been in line with the things that he has said from the beginning. He has never voted any other way than the way he has said he was going to. Ever. He has never represented any view points other than his own. Ever. He is absolutely against every thing that most big businesses are for. He is a true free market believer. No company that receives any sort of aid from any sort of government is going to want to put money towards his campaign rofl.
He may not believe in those things, but he believes in freedom of choice. Meaning you have the right to seperate your church from state, but that the federal govt wont do it for you. You have the right to equal rights, but the federal govt wont enforce them for you. If you want it choose it. Freedom of choice. The beautiful thing about it, is that you dont have to agree with what someone chooses, but you can still support the choice. Because each and every state is free to make its own laws, and no state is going to pass a law the voters dont support. Congress may be able to, but the states rely solely on the voters.
it isn't about smoking weed. It's about balancing the budget, living within the confines of the constitution, understanding the government cannot regulate every aspect of human life, and about my kids not owing 100k collectively to the government before they even understand what the national deficit is. I could go on and on but I think that drives my point home.
No candidate is going to be the quick fix or be the perfect president. To me and millions of others, Ron Paul represents the opposite of big government, big spending, trampling liberty for our own "safety" starting and perpetuating bullshit wars etc etc...
That is why I support him.

this dickbag from TX who runs a radio station keeps saying "a texan is gonna be in the whitehouse" and supports that douche RICK PARRY? but truely means RON PAUL FOR THE WIN

AHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHAA
He lost by 152 votes out of a pool of 16,185. 0.9391412% That's what he lost by. Less than one percent of the vote. Still a viable option and in the front running for the Rep nomination. AHAHAHAHA at nothing.
