So here I am watching Tony Ferguson vids and hes got people in rubber guard elbowing the shit out of them.
How the hell does he not hit is funny bone over and over doing that?!?
If you have ever railed your funny bone before that shit hurts and its not funny at all!
So to any people who practice throwing elbows or who have fought in the ring. Have you ever bashed the shit out of your funny bone throwing elbows to someones head? So curious!
As a Muay Thai instructor and coach I can tell you that the different surfaces of the elbow that you make contact with during the various elbow techniques used, the humerus nerve (the "funny bone") is not impacted. In other words, if you hit your funny bone, you are elbowing wrong.
Thanks Scott for the reply! I figure its had to have happend at one time or another to someone. It just looked like the angle that Tony was hitting from looked close to that nerve. But he is a skilled master and knows what hes doing.
