I don't believe so. Warm up E4 has the whip back which seems to be Godfather with PDU instead of the whizzer-pimp. It may work better with PDU, but if it works for you with a whizzer-pimp, I'd say keep at it. Only thing I that comes to my mind may be watching out for the knee slice if you can't get him to base back as you bridge into him, but I havn't put nearly as much effort into the godfather as I have the stomp series.
We nail it all the time in Madison.
The godfather is still very much in the system. There are so many options from when your opponent has top half head and arm, I usually go to whip downs, jaws of life or flying meat hooks or stomps, but now that I'm addressing this question I will try to remember to start going to the godfather more :)
I got swept with The Godfather just the other night. It's legit, no doubt.
The godfather is a great tech I use it all the time to get back to full guard when I'm having trouble in half
Somebody starts cranking my knee like that, I just give em what they want. I will fall over every time.
I'd forgotten about the Godfather and was reminded of the move last night while I was looking through The original Rubber Guard book and I remembered how my son used to Jack my knee with it all the God damn time.
Thats my sheeeeit right there. You know, being italian, i had to master that sweep
