Z-Guard - Kimura to the Back! Technique Video

So this dude who lives in my area Phil was making videos for the American top team thats near us. They are mad cool but focus more on mma. He is a videographer and got a whole bunch of equipment and wanted to make some jiu-jitsu videos with us (he trains). He brought it to me so i said why not. I have it set as unlisted cause i cant post stuff till im a brown belt but i can throw it up here. Anyways im gonna do some more so let me know what yall think.

I use this sequence a lot. I also go to the knee bar from there if the kimura isn't there. I also like to get inverted then swim to spider web. Of course Brandon shuts all of that down as soon as I jump on it so there's that.

Great tech. Great explanation and demonstration. That's how you do a tech video. Bonus points for adding the comp footage. 8)

Dig the tech... Im so used to the circle walk sweep I hadn't even considered butterflying them...

Slick Rick Taught a seminar at 10p Chicago that was almost entirely Kimura from Z-Guard stuff... To date the stuff he went over is all I do from Z Guard (with exception to the Caio Terra Sweep from Z guard, which is incredibly effective). I would highly recommend anyone who favors Z guard to get some time in with Rick and learn his control details etc from the position.
