Icon Grappling Sub Only round robin tourney (vids)

This tournament was a great experience in all aspects (5matches). This was my first comp at EXPERT level. Didn't win a medal but instead went home with some lessons that couldn't be learned without stepping up to the big leagues and getting as many matches as possible (2draws 3losses). I was able to get to the positions I like to attack from, but my opponents defended well and retaliated effectively. From this tourney I relearned the importance of always improving on my techniques and the technique of my training partners. And of course more cardio needed.

Never again will I let myself get lazy with my form and execution. Please watch these videos and learn from my mistakes. It may have been my first time entering in the expert level, but I feel I coulda woulda shoulda beat 4 of 5 opponents had I been consistently sharpening my DEFENCE and OFFENSIVE attacks and not relying on my current abilities, as well as improving cardio and strength.

match one- breakdown from what I'm seeing is that your not getting double underhooks when you got the lockdown your opponent keeps having that underhook on your left side and theirs no offense without the double underhooks bro. make doublenderhooks once you get the lockdown extended your thing whip up or whip down to get doubleunderhooks then start your attacks also saw a couple opportunities you could've gotten to dogfight. also he kept passing your guard you gotta get that right leg on the hip or double bag he also pulled out of your chill dog too try to feel that out and make a quick transition to jiu-claw sometimes but you gotta quickly grab his arm as you feel it or it wont work its a timing thing

match 3 I would've kept a gable grip when I was going to the electric chair real quick but he had your arm so you prob coulv'e gotten stoner control with his leg on your left side he would've turned over but you would've had stop stoner control
