what do you do when you're the uke for class ?

seems like a silly question but its serious..... kinda.
if you're the uke for a given class and there are people sitting behind you, do you move back to the rest of the students, or lay down infront of your instructor (seems a bit casual for jiu jitsu) or stay kneeling directly infront of your instructor

While he or she is demonstrating the technique I return to the starting position of the move. Follow the instructors lead.
