Damn, that was a super solid match. Go Cora!!! Really good turnout, too.
The kids coming up right now scare the shit out of me. Good stuff!
I am so glad I was mat side for this fight! A highlight of my Jiu Jitsu life FOR SURE! Alex and Cora are so bad ass!
yeah cora!! :D
Cora's a class act. I love her enthusiasm for the game, and the way she maintains her composure win or lose. I've been privileged to work with several elite athletes over the years and while Cora wants to win as much as anyone, she handles her losses better than any elite athlete I've ever dealt with. That's a good sign that she's well-adjusted and that she truly understands that losing just means that you have the opportunity to get better.
And all of this despite having Bruce for a father.
Of all the matches that were posted on Flowgrappling for that tournament, this was my favorite match. Lots of rubber guard and lockdown action going on. Great job Cora!
Well said, I def admire anyone who remains respectful and composed in victory and defeat. Great job to Cora's family and all her supporters (I actually like Bruce lol )Quote:
