I was rolling with a friend the other night, and I went for the omaplata. As I sat up to grab the shoulder, I underhooked the arm and pulled him on top of me, threw my leg over his face, and armbarred him, while still having the other arm wrapped around my leg. I was wondering if this has a name, because I just did it without even thinking about it. Thanks.

the arm bar you described seems to be easy to escape (no offense i either visualized your description wrong or what ever)
but this is what you were very close to which i think would be more higher in percentage

I don't think theres a name for it, like the guy above me said, the move you did sounds easy to escape. Ur opponent could free his arm that was caught in the omoplata and twist up into you even if you have a leg over the face bc his far arm is not really trapped. Then you'll lose the armlock bc you've got one leg behind his body.
BUT, as he pulls his arm free, you can slide your knee up to his armpit and continue the armlock. It's possible.
Keep experimenting with it, sounds like ur on the right track.
