Need help from Lockdown
Hey guys! So I've been working on my lockdown and the advice I've gotten from this forum has helped alot so far. So I'm having alot of success from lockdown but some guys at my gym are doing something that's tripping me up a bit. I get lockdown with double underhooks and guys will use their free leg to hook my inside leg and separate it from the lockdown. They grapevine it similar to what someone might do from mount. They seem to be stuck themselves when they do this but it takes away my whip up. Any advice on how to prevent this or nullify it?

Easy soluation, go for whip down before they break open your lockdown... then work from there. My LD game got way more dangerous and whipdown aka reverse LD became my goto. I barely even whip up at all anymore

Getting a lockdown is one sport, keeping it while fighting for a clinch is another sport. Use pants and ankle sleeves for maximum lockdown efficiency

If he grapevines your inside foot he’s effectively opening up a trap and roll on that side. I’ve had success bridging as they swing their leg to break your lockdown off. Timing is critical but it’s a drop the mic sweep that I’ve caught against high level guys. Trap the foot, frame their head and push it with your far side bicep reaching over your head, use your other hand to trap their cross facing arm.

Once guys know your LD is dangerous, they wont go anywhere near it.
Then your biggest issue becomes just getting there.
I have found the easiest path for me is from bottom knee shield with the Zelda or EZE as shown in my videos above.
Back on the classic Master the Rubber Guard DVD Eddie shows an entry from shin to shin called "The Stake Out"... but hedidnt go so deep on it and I personally could not get it to work.
Anyone have any success with it, or have any other LD entries they want to share?

maybe it will be trivial but I am very happy with the classic push, pull, lockdown. as far as I'm concerned it works almost always even against high belts. Since I am an avid lockdown player, I also pose a problem that I can't solve: in that space of time in which I managed to get the lockdown but I'm still fighting to get the double underhooks or the electric underhooks my opponent simply he turns his pelvis into a position like that of the twister side control only with his leg still stuck in my lockdown. the serious problem is that once he has turned his pelvis for him it becomes extremely easy to remove his leg from my lockdown and pass my guard in this way. It seems to me such a simple thing that my opponent does that I think maybe I am missing something. Can anyone help me? Sorry for my english
