Phenibut
I'm guessing a lot of people know of or have tried phenibut, but just posting a personal testimonial it has GREATLY helped my training. Really gives me laser focus while not making me hyper. I guess it was developed for soviet cosmonauts as an antianxiety remedy that would keep their mental and physical response/capacity at 100%. recommended dosage for males is 15-17 mgs daily per pound of body weight. I'm a big guy so my recommended dosage is about 4.33 grams, but I usually take about 3-3.5 grams, spread throughout the day, usually cycling 2-3 days on, 2-5 days off. i basically just put about a gram into some grapefruit juice or coffee instead of encapsulating it. kinda sour, but bearable. Everyone usually remarks at how calm I am when I roll, but this stuff makes me like sloth in a buddhist monastary calm. In a really good way. I am still moving up to speed, but I'm just able to perceive everything so much clearer, almost like my opponent/partner is going in slow motion. It may not be for everyone, but I figured it may help some people. I buy it from powder city and this link can save 10%

Lots of other awesome stuff there, I especially recommend the fish oil (regular old fish oil but an amazing price), sublingual b vitamins (like a caffeine free energy shot for somewhere around 10 cents per serving), and creatine monohydrate bulk powder (Basic same old creatine, but an awesome value).

Thanks for the tip... Sounds similar to something like adderal. I'll give it a shot. The reviews look great.

You should check out GABA.

In Rel to nickkuglemans suggestion, Phenibut is actually a much more efficient phenyl derivative of GABA. The other popular GABA supplement is Picimilion, which is GABA bound with Niacin. GABA itself does not cross the blood brain barrier. If you take it long enough, some of it eventually makes its way through your organs to your brain, but overall this is a very ineffective process. It's effects are very clear and well documented. There are a number of nootropics which can have clear positive effects on almost any cognitive task, including jiujitsu...
