pulled over in twister
sup guys,
Quick one... i have been using the twister a while now, but just lately my training partners have been pulling me onto them once i have established the grapevine... just suddenly everyone is doing it... any ideas what this could be? keep in mind we are all pretty big dudes. im around 250 pounds and one of my partners is heading around the 300 mark...

I'm not sure if this will help, but are you using the fishnet when you're setting up the twister? Cause I don't think you'll have this problem if you're using the fishnet.
If you could give a few more details, I bet I could be more help.

no i havent been... my arms are too short to get around their fat legs....

is the leg you have lockdowned available for a calf crank?

Are you being pulled over into their half-guard? I'm having trouble visualizing what's happening to you, but I know that usually when the twister position fails for me, I end up in half-guard, or holding half-guard. Either position is comfortable as hell for me, so I just flow with it.
