There's my study list for the foreseeable future
Awesome finds Chris! :)
Eddie, can you give us an ETA on the new warm ups you are incorporating? ;)
After getting the 1/4 guard warmups down, i've been focusing on them about 2 or 3 weeks or so. It was something that popped up in sparring right away.
Lovin' the warmups, they've improved my game in a way i never imagined.
Do you guys focus on both sides for warm ups (especially clinching ones like 1/4 guard, 1/2 pass, and open guard)? I figure with some of the passes, mostly the open guard and butterfly guard passes, you could pick which side to pass on, so sticking with one side might not be as bad. But with the ones you can't dictate as much (1/4, 1/2, open guard sweeps), do you get both sides decent or just one side up to ninja level before focusing on the other side?
Watched the videos and felt a bit overwhelmed at first. Wrote detailed notes, took them to my class and arranged to all arrive 30 minutes early and amazing how quickly they become 'easy' and natural.
I do this kind of stuff for stand up all the time (partner drills), so it's kind of strange we never thought about it for more complex Jiu Jitsu movements until now.
Thanks for those who put all this together.
Newest addition to Series B: Hail Mary
B4)Z-Guard to Rolling Toe Hold:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7c0hJMKWKQQ
Love the safe haven back escape addition to the Hail Mary rolling kimura to back take to rnc.
Eddies scrape defence has got me out of trouble countless times and we drill the shit out of it as well as leg press/baseball bat defence so this safe haven technique fits snugly in between the two completing the back escape spectrum.
We also drill tripod defence when turtled and they have hooks be interesting to see a 10th Planet take on that too..
If the warmups were all you knew, you'd already be one badass grappler.
Is there a place to view or download the warmups in their current updated form?
If any of the Moon Heads want to hit me with the updated list I'll update the technique guide.
I'm interested in this as well. I'm assuming we should all be implementing the revisions as they come out?
Same here.
I went through the episode guide and pulled all of the info on Warmups.
I added the info to the Printable Warmups guide.
The additions are marked in Red. Hopefully this will help.
Remember, these are additions so if they have MTSxx to the left, that is simply where you can find the video.

You're the man!
was going through the thread thinking about putting it all together, so thank you very much :)
the Wheel Kick mount of reverse knee on belly is added to the H3: Deep Half Guard Slingshot
Every school should incorporate these. Awesome.
Thank you Eddil !!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Nice!
Is it necessary to invert the hips on the first butterfly pass? I've experimented and flown right into side-control, though just came across this video and the hip inversion seems like a more efficient use of available space. It seems that there could be different variations on the flying pass based on your head and hand placement. On the second one, is he trapping the thigh or the hip?
I'm still in top half and I have all those options you mentioned. any way best of luck :P
