Thanks this is awesome stuff :)
Well I'm making them my warm-up whether anyone else wants to or not (well I guess I need at least one other person...). This is eight bars of solid freaking gold! Why would you NOT do these?!
We've been doing the warm ups in the Roc since the 1st day I heard Eddie mentioned the idea of warms ups ;)
10th P Alton will be executing these until they Granby out of bed in the morning
In addition to making my guys do the warm ups each class for 15 min im assiging them to drill one of them 100 times each week, so after 8 weeks each new student will have drilled them 100 assigned times plus during the warm up.
Just until they know them all
No one wanted to come to the forum to watch it so im just making them do mad drilling before they allowed to spar
Started yesterday 8 people finished As of today (ryan s, vlad, bboy, mike, andy, me, kev, saad) 6 are half and 2 are 30% and some have yet to start
Now everyone who finished is allowed to spar.
Whoa
Hey guys I was wondering if someone could point me in the right direction to a MTS video that explains some of the technique behind these drills. If someone could point me in the direction for atleast one of the warmups it would be greatly appreciated! I want to implement these drills into training for our club but want to be able to express the finer details within the drills. Thanks guys look forward to mastering these techniques in the years to come
This should do the trick:

Thats awesome Eddie. Thank you
That is a full year to master all of that.
Awesome Thanks
This is some good stuff. Now all I need is a training partner lol.
awesome, thx so much eddie. I'm trying to get Philippe Dupont head instructor at Nordik fight club to do some granby warmups!
What are the names of these guys? About how many students do you have doing 10thplanetJJ at your school? I'm just curious :)
I know this might sound like I'm jumping on the bandwagon but...well I am. Each day we only have about 30 minutes of training at home after finishing up her homework before she have to go to the gym. So for the past 3 weeks (don't know why it took me so long to get on the program) but for the past 3 weeks, we been spending the first 15 minutes doing the warm ups. And the last 15 minutes on special techniques. We been doing this since her last tournament and wow its has improved Cora's game so much. I can imagine how a full year of doing the warm will elevate her game. This coming year 2014 we will focus on polishing up her warm ups and the techniques she already know. We have the material to take her game to the next level. This program is nothing short of genius!!!
I have been doing set A for example for a week straight getting my guys accustomed to the warm ups, then the next week I would move on to the next set. Do you want moon heads to do then with hq?
Awesome stuff. Thank you for this!
Just watching mts 67 now. The bit about the importance of the warmups is just done. I'm dedicating myself to mastering the warmups, 100% now. Before, i was just "kinda" into it, and i was doing some of them, some of the time. Like Eddie said, some of the time i just didn't really know what was going on, and those drills, i just didn't do. With the polishing in the latest episodes, i've gotten a lot more info on what's what and how to do them. Even if it takes me months, and it takes me the entire time of the class, that's gonna be my shit from now on.
These warm ups are too legit to quit. Pretty awesome we have Eugene linked up with most other moons.
good stuff
When 10p soldiers from different moons visit HQ one of the first things they realize is that we got our wu's on point. Before making the trip to SoCal please come warm-up-ready, don't make your instructor look like he's laggin :-)
Awesome Thanks :-))
Awesome thanks for posting.
If any of my boys rock up to HQ and don't have their shit together with the warmups, I will kill them all and lick the blood off my hands like BJ Penn.
WARM UPS G: NO HAND PASS
My current favourite passer Leandro Lo executes a perfect NO HAND PASS to pull victory from the jaws of defeat, if you don't want to see the whole match then do not miss the sequence starting 11mins 50 seconds some beautiful agility to remain in guard passing territory:

WARM UPS H: SPIRAL CLINCH SWEEP
Lo executing beautiful spiral sweep on no other than Calasans at the 6 minute 30 mark.

Note: Even at the highest level the scoring is still a debacle- notice how Lo's score goes up to 4 points then back down to 2 when I can only assume someone notices that Calasnas is still attacking the ankle.
WARM UPS D: CAPOEIRA PASS
AJ Agazarm back stepping beautifully with the capoeira to secure side control from a tight qtr guard at 3 mins 50 seconds

WARM UPS C: B SMITH ESCAPE
Best match I've seen in a long time, trust Grapplers Quest to come with the goods.
Kristian Woodmansee with a perfectly timed B Smith escape at around the 57 second mark. It wasnt enough to overcome the power of such a ludicrous rash guard though. Insane match, love it!!

I think I'm gonna start doing some of these at home, might help keep me more interested then just practicing shrimps and bridges
