Alabama bjj open
Next weekend at Samford in Birmingham. Would love to see some other 10p guys/girls there. Should be bringing around ten up from Mobile and expect really good things. Quite possibly my last tournament as a white belt so will be posting some highlight videos later. http://alabamabjj.com. Is the site for pre registration. Hopefully I'll see some of you there!

160 and under?! thats whacked yo!
-
Get a competitive edge!!! Chris Herzog seminar...saturday December 4th!!
-
Yeah, the 160 and below is a little whack for you. Wish they had a better weight class for you Ryan... About the Herzog seminar, it would be amazing to go to but I basically am in a position where I can afford one thing this month bjj related and chose the tournament. Anyone thinking about going? 10th planet Decatur?

we just found out about the tourney last week. i will be there, but we don't have anyone competing.
-
First I heard of this as well, hmmm.
-

Update!! Bobby Rivers (formally known as SponginBob) won the adult Blue Belt Gi division, in his 3rd time in a Gi. He also took 2nd in a too close to call Nogi final. I won the white belt Gi division and took 3rd in nogi. The guy who beat me wrestled in high school and college, and is a pro mma fighter...in a white belt division. He also arrived late and didn't weight in. First match. http://m.youtube.com/index?desktop_u...&v=G_RVc9AwQz8. 2nd match. http://m.youtube.com/index?desktop_u...&v=mA62DP9gVHY. Final. http://m.youtube.com/index?desktop_u...&v=KnshNEs7_lU. The match I lost, you tell me if he's 155...http://m.youtube.com/index?desktop_u...&v=dIYjBEdtNAU Here's my 3rd place match. Though Bobby is superb at Jiu jitsu, he is a subpar camera man. http://m.youtube.com/index?desktop_u...&v=_UE4QGahZUY. And of course it's not a tournament if Bobby isn't hitting a flying armbar!http://m.youtube.com/index?desktop_u...&v=eyY-k8CQf2U. Sorry about the bad layout, doing this all via iPhone. Just thought you might like to know we are holding it down in Alabama and confidence is only growing, as well as skill. Thanks again Eddie for helping turn us into killas.
