I know we have the granby warm ups, but are there other MTS episodes or sections of MTS that you may know of that can help with open guard pass prevention? Thank you all! :D:D

Watch what Eddie does in MTS 104... starting after the 29:15 mark... knee shield, 2 on 1 etc.. Eddie even mentions "hard to pass" :-D
If you can combine Marcelo's elbow push escape with his hip roll (which is basically the granby) you're good for 90% of any defence :)

The 8 to 4 & 10 to 2 drills we do on D days are crucial guard pass prevention drills
Thank you Master. I will focus on that. :)
You need to visit Brandon McCaghren. His strategy on guard and framing took my guard recovery/framing and hip movent to prevent getting passed to the next, next level. I went to a seminar in it in FL over a year ago and am still putting stuff in from that day.
Eddie is not big on open guard. He prefers you find a clinch of some sort, his clinch of choice being quarter guard. So you won't find too much about open guard retention in MTS other than ways to establish a clinch and work from there.
For open guard retention, this is the best video I've seen on the subject. Really pulls together the main fundamental concepts behind the top guys' unpassable guards.

And this is part 2, but it pretty much repeats the same ideas:
