If you have a lockdown and your opponent turns to t pass/top half, I always go to the Apollo to set up the arm triangle from the bottom. You need a high level squeeze to pull it off but it doesn’t work, switch back to a table grip from the figure four, and as long as his arm is still trapped, switch from lockdown to super stomp and sweep to mounted arm triangle, that’s what I always do in this situation
I tried this several times. It worked when the opponent is not too far up on your body. However, if the opponent goes past my chest and smashes me, I find that I can not turn over to my belly and can't move at all. I get stuck. Is there any advise on how to prevent our opponent from advancing too far up our body?
