I think Saulo teaches them as a series of variations to the Torreando pass (Bullfighter Pass).

That may be, I'm not sure. However, this pass looks so strikingly similar to the pass that Eddie Bravo has been pushing in the Mastering the System series.

Yeah, I also first saw this pass in Saulo's dvd series. Marcelo just really likes it (he once told me it was his favorite pass- but since his game changes so much, I'm not sure if it is anymore...but he still uses it all the time).

In any case, it as an amazingly effective move, and Eddie is very smart in teaching it to his students!
