Hey Guys,

10th Planet El Paso was in action yesterday at the regional Hayashi's Judo/Jiu Jitsu/Submission Grappling Tournament. We did great! Kito, Justin, Angel, and I all got second place in our respective divisions. The kids also did fantsastic with several of them medaling. All of our guys showed a lot of heart and promise!

The rules for this tourney were a little different: Four minute matches, points for pulling guard, if they stand up while you have them in a submission you have to let go, double elimination, etc. Also, there was no categories (i.e. Beginner, Advanced). The fighters were only separated by their weight. This definitely made it interesting.

I'm gonna upload some of my videos (other El Paso Niburu warriors feel free to upload your own here as well). I was in the 155 division and it was FULL of competitors. I had SEVEN MATCHES and took second. Here's some of the action:

I fought this next guy twice. He's a wrestler and he got me both times, although I'm very happy with my performance. Had him in danger many times in both matches.

The second match was super borning. I won by points. Also didn't post the final bc it's more of the same as the fifth one.

John, Victor is in the works or organizing a submission only Gracie Southwest Tournament, same format as the nationals. You guys should come down for it! 10th P would win the team division for sure. lol

Damn. When Mario told me he was leaving HQ and moving back to Texas I didn't realize that he would be going to 10p El Paso, I just thought I was losing a soldier with alot of potential, and look at him now, Mario is yet another 10p assassin on the rise, what an amazing performance, I can't believe how many 10p stars are rising these days, I love it!

p.s. Mario, your rubber guard is blossoming into something deadly
