    Side Control Down?

I was doing a search for side control down escapes but can't seem to find anything. Is there another name for side control down? thanks

Side Control Down? If it's what I think it is 10p calls that "Twister Side Control". My gym calls it "facing the legs"

Do you mean "Bottom Side Control?" Like, "my opponent has Side Control?"

Seems very unlikely that you mean that you want to escape Top Side control.

So what Side Control escapes do we specialize in? Btw, there's another thread on the same topic that is trending right now.

its when someone has me in side control, then they put the cross face arm over my body while sitting on their side and face my legs. Similar to when I have the lockdown on someone and they turn down and face my legs.

The position is called reverse kesa gatame.

If you want to search, you want to use the right terms. Reverse kesa, reverse kesa gatame, reverse side control, or twister side control.

    Example:

    youtube search reverse kesa escape,

    https://www.youtube.com/results?sear...se+kesa+escape

    voila!

    Enjoy.

PS: who'd you get your blue belt from?

    Thats the one! Thanks!

PS: My instructor, I probably don't deserve it but that doesn't stop me from trying to get better. I'd love to go back to being a white belt again tapping out blue belts all the time. :-)
