jim stone has some good screen caps of the weird weather patterns from maria. contrast to the one that hung out over houston that had very warm gulf waters to feed it and a high pressure system from the jetstream to push back at it, that one was legit. but jose, maria, and jupiter birthed from some constellation in alignment, cmon...maria was contrived bullshit and had some weird squarish patterns to it.
the earthquakes are from the solar activity, though. solar cycle 24 is coming to a weird conclusion where the northern and southern hemispheres are quite out of phase, resulting in a weird double dip bottom to the solar cycle. when this happens, larger flares at the trough of the cycle become more prevalent as the magnetic discrepancies resolve themselves.
I had to chuckle at the magnetically aligned X10 flare that whacked earth and caused a shortwave radio blackout and little else. our systems are more hardened against flares than some people think. (but this contrasts to the m flare a few months back that coincided with a fema training event, parts of the grid went down and they tried blaming it on the flare...now its almost like people dont remember that happening. look into it, eh!)
