Guard pass prevention

Eddie is not big on open guard. He prefers you find a clinch of some sort, his clinch of choice being quarter guard. So you won't find too much about open guard retention in MTS other than ways to establish a clinch and work from there.

For open guard retention, this is the best video I've seen on the subject. Really pulls together the main fundamental concepts behind the top guys' unpassable guards.

Hell yea like he says if you quickly get 1/4 clinch you take away all your opponents best/fanciest passes they could have been drilling for years and leave them with just two or three options.

...personally though I am working to master an unpassable Donkey Guard
