    I train 50/50 gi/no-gi. Pretty much everything i learn in 10th Planet I use in gi and it works great, if not better. It's much harder for your opponent to get out of your clinching game when there is a gi involved. Plus there is all kinds of grips you can find to make it even better, like the one mentioned above about hugging your knee in RG and gripping back of the collar. I love that one, once you get it it's effortless to hang out there and create opporutnities.

    The best thing about no gi, is that when your hands cramp from gripping the gi, you just go back to your no gi grips to stay in the fight.
