IBJJF question regarding the electric chair

Next month i'm competing in the Amsterdam Open as a white belt, i was wondering if the electric chair is aloud in the IBJJF rules if you just use it to stretch your opponent out.

I think it boils down to what ref you get. Ive seen a couple DQs and a couple wins from it. Ask someone when you get to the event just so you dont get nailed with a DQ

    http://www.ibjjf.org/docs/rulesibjjf1stedition.pdf

It's on page 22. Says "submission techniques stretching legs apart" Looks like its allowed for adults but these are just ibjjf riles could be exceptions at the event for all I know.

    Good Luck.

Really depends on the ref. Like Brent said I've seen it go both ways. They usually don't know what it is when they see it and don't know how to call it. Sometimes they look at it as if you're twisting their knee, I've seen opposing coaches argue this is happening as well so it would help if your coach is there to back you up just in case. It's a highly successful sub at white belt, just a matter of the ref agreeing.
