    This seriously confuses me. There are a lot of good defenses for the rubber guard. I haven't seen one. And this dudes a black belt who has his own school. He can probobly roll his ass off, and I would bet that many of us here couldnt phase him in full guard. It would def be hard to break his posture. But just once on one of these vids, when he asks his student to apply the guard, I want him to snap to free NY hugging the shit out of his knee and double baggin, while already lookin to clear the head. Otherwise the video is completely useless, because you are in no danger of it in the first place.

    The key to defending the rubber guard is knowing the rubberguard and patience. We peel through gym's who have no RG players and are unfamiliar. But I rarely can compromise one of my comp teammates.

    The second the guy on bottom started doing "rubber guard" it was clear that I couldn't watch this without getting angry
