Score this match, were we robbed ?

10th planet Birmingham blue belt Chris Gary in the final against a BJJ brown belt at Grapplers Showdown
Just given 1 point for the sweep at 1.58mins instead of 2 then told at the end that the 1 should have been an advantage point for the sub attempt? plus nothing for the takedown at the end.....opinions please

The Brazilian arguing our case was BJJ back belt and ref Claudio Henrique Da Silva. Seems likely he would know the rules

one sweep each, one takedown for 10p guy and one advantage for RNC attempt. That was pretty terrible reffing.

Your guy seemed to handle it very well at the end.. With that said, I'm not trying to be a dick but this is reality...You are 10th Planet, you need to get used to getting screwed on scoring and decisions. We are different, better, and new...it's only natural they don't like us.

P.S. beautiful match, couple more seconds and it wouldn't have come down to stupid points.. gj!

Yeah he definitely won that match. I've been fucked like that too, except they broke out "Video Review" bitched and one of the top blackbelts in Chicago came over and jumped on their side (naturally). It is what it is. Chris got hosed, such is life, but nonetheless he did really awesome against a BrownBelt! He should be proud as fuck!!!

What infuriates me is that you PAY GOOD MONEY to compete in tournaments, and they make bad calls because they are biased.
    Bullshit.

Lookin good Chris. Pretty obvious miscalls cost ya gold. It sux but I love the way you handled it. Make your case, but no sense getting too heated over this stuff. The way you compete, you will start to get better calls as they see you more.

What you really needed was 3 more seconds.
