Ive had it on my left ear for awhile, the right just started a couple weeks ago. Ill probably never drain it unless i absolutely have to. My goal is to have Randys ears by the time Im 30. Cauliflower ear just looks B.A. to me.
hey guys just a FYI once it dries there is no "Draining" it the option becomes going to a doctor and having them cut it out with a scalpel.
i have it on my left ear
Yea, lol..
You think all these people would have fucked up ears their whole lives if you could just drain it whenever?
Shit's permanent bro.
If you get it on the inside of your ear, I would recommend getting it bolstered as quickly as possible - some shit on the outside is cool, but you don't want your hearing to end up being affected by it.
Meh, just let it harden up. It gets smaller as it hardens anyways. I've had several spots on my ears. I don't care and my wife trains, so she understands. Draining it sucks way worse than letting it go anyways.
I had mine drained 3 times in 2 weeks before giving up.
The first time they froze the ear and took the puss out with a needle. The other two times they popped a hole in it and squeezed it out. Kinda painful...
It comes back if you sleep on that side of your head.
Cauliflower ear is whatever. I hope I don't get it, but I do think my ears are closer to my head now from doing this for awhile, which is awesome! Sean has it but I think it's kind of equivalent to guys who work with their hands having calluses and black and blue fingernails..it seals the deal on what you do as a career. I'm a hair stylist..I have scars on my knuckles and get hair splinters. It's part of the job description I think. I've seen people go to the doctor and get it drained, you have to stay out of the gym, it's painful, and takes longer to heal than if you would of left it alone in the first place! So forget it.

For those who don't know about bolstering - this is what you need to do to fix an ear that really needs fixing. As others have said - you can drain an ear over and over, but there isn't anything stopping it from filling back up when you're sleeping or something like that. I can tell you this does work amazingly - I got hit hard in the side of the head and my ear basically inflated to fill my whole 'ear-bud' area - completely closing off my entire inner ear. I really did not want that - so I had it bolstered - and it's good as new.
Granted this is an upper ear example - I had the same thing done on the inside of my ear. They punch stitches through and tie them so that there is constant pressure holding your ear from both sides.
You will need to go to a doctor - but it's really not a large price when weighed against future surgery or obstructed hearing.
I have it on both ears. Had my right ear drained once. It's damn sexy.
