Welcome man I am new two and trained at several schools before 10p I can tell you this is a famliy. Some schools will tell you that but theses guys and girls walk the walk. Just have fun with learning and roll on.

Fundamentals. Its cool to be able to do all the fancy stuff but means jack shit if you cant execute your escapes or the basics properly. If youre going to focus on the lockdown half never allow someone to be in your inside space. Then you don't have to worry about your working Jaws of Life. Dominate the inside space it'll make your life much easier.

Work on your mount escapes and maintaining mount. I'd recommend Alcatraz and Guantanamo from the MTRG book for sure. Both are great ways to get to the Lockdown, which is ultra important.

Other than that, drill the techniques on the site and take small bites. Roll often!
