Just to be clear on something. Gerald has not been convicted or charged with anything. He is not being held and there is an investigation going on to what really happened. There's a lot of speculation going on but nobody knows anything.

Damn shame when you have to shoot, but I'm confident Gerald only pulled out of necessity. I mean, he can handle himself with his hands, so for him to shoot, I'd guess he had good reason and was within his rights.

Gerald was a Marine Scout Sniper and fully trained to handle fire arms, that being said he wouldn't have drawn his weapon if it wasn't absolutely necessary.
