As a white belt at my school, we start from the knees. Is pulling the half going to be my best starting point?

The thing that sucks is, every time I bring up 10th Planet techniques my instructor tells me that being a beginner I shouldn't even use it. He also showed everyone how to break the half guard in class. I was a bit disheartened by this as I want to improve all the techniques in the 10th planet BJJ system.

Is there a almost perfect game plan for beginners to learn? I am smoking the other whites and getting submissions a lot of the time... But i cant finish the striped whites and blue belt, nor survive 1 min with my instructor without getting a choke slapped on me.
I do about 2 -3 privates a week and want to know what to bring up.

It's frustrating to say the least.
Being frustrated as a white belt is something that you need to kill immediately. It wil ruin your Jitz career. You are taking your rolls way too seriously. You should focus on all the things you are getting good at and be grateful for them.

As far as pulling guard when ur starting on ur knees, that's the absolute best thing you could do. Pushing someone over on his back from your knees is not a move that comes up in comp or real life. Earn the top position, pull guard and sweep or submit. That's the secret. Look at Marcelo roll.

I'm working with Olympic gold medalist wrestlers from Bulgaria, Iran, Russia and Mexico. I plan on suplexing Royler like Dan Severn vs Anthony Macias. If he counters that I will throw him like Ronda vs Meisha. If he counters that I will break his collar bone with an aerial double leg slam like Frank Shamrock vs Igor Zinoviev. Don't forget, I wrestled 2 years in high school.

Mounted triangle. It's so powerful yet you rarely see anyone setting it up in Mma. Last one I can remember is Sergio Moreas, now that was super sick

Are you kidding? There's an amazing documentary on the Mexican Olympic wrestling team of the 1984 Olympics, it's on netflix, I think it's called "Nacho Libre" or something to that effect.
