As a fan of both MMA/BJJ a lot of times we see fights that don't quite live upto the hype... but I must say seeing Eddie and Royler go at it for 20 Minutes EXCEEDED all expectations.

Eddie's Dominating Performance mixed with Royler's Heart made for a brilliant encounter!

The only question I have is... What did Royler say to Eddie after the match?

when eddie started i coudn't sit down i really was a nervous wreck , i can see why royler wanted eddie wear gi pants ...... but above all a win or a lose didn't makes no diffrence for me eddie is one of the most humbble guy on planet earth
i even cryed when he got to his mom and mentions lux and drago .What an amazing fucking 10 planet family. Congrats to you master eddie

Royler had an unfair advantage in being able to grab the pants, this isn't half gi/half no gi and Eddie still dominated. I was a little disappointed in Royler trying to make Eddie lose position when they were moved back into the middle of the mat and using "the rape choke" when Eddie passed his guard was a bit of poor etiquette if you ask me.

Maybe I'm wrong but I thought that was almost like a gentlemans agreement not to do that in grappling.

Either way, amazing match, GOAT, so happy for Eddie and 10P. 11 years, and finally we have validation.

does anyone have stats for the fight? and has someone gone through and checked who wouldve won by how many points? i know eddie wouldve but it would be interesting to see.
