65% of matches went to the ground with a guard pull, 75% if you count a double guard pull. 48% of the guard pullers won their match compared to 40% who started on top. I think the science is supporting Eddie's claims about the guard. Even in IBJJF.

Thanks for posting Phill. I've never worn a gi; are back chokes easier to get in the gi or about the same as no gi?
