    TKD @ 10, Shotokan @ 16, Pro-wrestling(work & shoot) @ 25, 10PJJ @ 40 I personally think karate styles at a very early age are excellent for balance, agility, & flexibility.

Bjj was my first martial art and I started at 20. You basically have 2 options: either train or don't. You may not be able to keep up with certain people, but who knows...you may. You can for sure become the best grappler you can be though, regardless of age. Can't go back in time, only forward and work with what you have.

work your butt off no matter what age and you'll be where the people that work their butts off are.

He started BJJ at that age but didn't he already do capoeira before that?

Maybe when you're 34 you can be as mediocre as I am. Keep your fingers crossed.

I did TKD when I was about 12 and fell in love with it, sadly my mum couldn't afford to pay for me to go. I always swore when I got my first job I would learn a martial art. 16th birthday I went out and got a job - at a pizza place - and started Muaythai. That was 11 years ago now
