My man cave project.

Hi, I am new to the forum. If anyone lives near Lakewood Ca, hit me up to roll. I plan on joining the Buena park location as soon as my daughter starts day care in the next few months. Like every guy I always wanted to have a nice gym at my house and when I moved into my new house my garage was the perfect project location, besides the 8ft drywalled ceiling, ply wooded attic space and giant holes in the walls. So I went to work, here are a few photos of the start to finish: 14x17ft caged mat space, mural, 60" tv, fridge, all pads for muay thai, timer, thai bag, surround sound.

The mats were the bulk of the cash, thats were Craigslist came in handy I ended up spending about $750 on 1.75" mats from a personal owner. The good mats 1.5" to 2" inch can get super pricey I believe the retail on the mats were about $1,200 or 1,400.
The cage walls I built my self with some help from a friend that welds from 3" square steel tubing I purchased from a scrap yard for about $300, Homedepot online store sells the really thick rubber coated chainlink fencing pretty cheap it was a really good quality for the cash (under $100) odds and ends were paint and patch, re-doing the electrical, installing the tv fencing and audio equipment thats where it pays to be handy. I did the work my self over the span of 3 months just purchased materials. Besides that the pads, timer thai bag, etc I accumulated over time.
