Full lotus position chokes or guard techniques?

I want to implement the full lotus position in BJJ. But what would be a good place to start?

Couldn't help myself there =D. I'd say a bulk of this position would be from the butterfly stretch. Make sure to warm up before hand so yo don't injure anything during your deep stretching.

I'm actually flexible to do that...but I'm terrible at balancing.

It's called Rubber Guard. It's essentially a series of lotus positions with the dude's head inside it.

Sometimes instead of a body triangle I wrap full lotus aroud skinny people, but that's more just for fun, I dont think it's very beneficial

The Sorcerer I guess is a sort of full lotus position. Actually going full lotus during rolling etc? I have no idea how that would ever be useful.

    Kind of related:

I find that my butterfly stretch is pretty good and I have a decent full lotus, but when I'm in mount of half guard I can't get my hips as low as I'd like. Marcelo, I notice, is almost groin to the floor when in half guard.

Does anyone have any additional stretches that would help with sinking the hips lower when on top?
