Scott Ross, you sly dog, you. (DOA counter)

Had to be shared, I'm looking forward to playing around with this.

Physio just told me I can get back to some light drilling, avoiding kimuras and posting after about 6 or 7 weeks of working the lotus because I could do fuck all else after fracturing my collar bone. Serious lack of jits and I am getting so hyped up with every video I watch now.

High praise coming from you Chris. Victor Webster showed me a way to make this work without the leg that I will include in an update in the near future. I'm tenatively calling this the Nightmare because I'm scared of it.

And thanks to Andrew for using this to win a match in the expert division of NAGA.

    Thanks for sharing, very cool.
Do you do anything different if they triangle the leg you are trying to get to?

I assume you mean that the opponent has triangled, or crossed their legs, before you attempt the move. You would have to break the triangle first by pushing the legs apart. There's other techniques you can use to counter if that happens - and that sometimes opens up their legs so you can use this technique.

If you mean they triangle their legs after I've already pulled the knee up - I haven't noticed anyone doing that.

Yes this is what I meant. I tried your DOA counter the other day and found it to be super effective so thankyou for sharing. If you have the time and inclination to share these other techniques to free the triangled leg that would be greatly appreciated
