Berlin White Belt Challenge - Gold and Silver - Leg firgure 4 to block Lockdown

    Hey guys,

So I competed last weekend in the Berlin white belt challenge at 75.9 kg.

32 guys in my group and I came out on top... and my teammate took second!

    5 Matches - 4 Subs

Kimura, Triangle, and 2 Dead Orchards

I also competed in the open class.. but the guy beat me by points... he also knew the 10th Planet system pretty well. I worked my Rubber Guard on him but couldn't get the finish.

Also at 13:44 when I try to get him in LockDown he triangles his leg the other way to block it... have any of you guys experienced that before or have any suggestions on where to transition to?

Any comments or suggestions very welcome

    Take care and happy training

I would say that that is a great time to use the superstomp to get to butterfly with double underhooks, ala warmups F.

    That's right man,

Instead of trying to force his knee open with my foot I could have inserted my butterfly hook and transitioned to cacoon.

Thanks for the tip man, I will work on that one for next time.

My next big project is working on my straight ankle locks.

    Take care and happy training
