    Warm up question

    Hi.
For the A warm up series, on A3, is it necessary to place your arm between your partner's legs to do the wrestler's switch. I asked some wrestlers and they told me that it was more of a beginner's thing, and was not necessary (as far as wrestling is concerned). Maybe there is a reason to do it as far as how it translates to jiu-jitsu?
    thanks.

Good question. I think it's necessary tho, I've always seen it that way

I was always taught to reach inside the thigh for the switch in wrestling.
