    Double Leg to Side Control

    Working on my double legs and drilled around 1000 times they are fast and legit. Only one problem I end up in their guards. If I apply the traditional wrestling variation I end up at top half guard or top open guard. If I apply Gracie leg trap variation I end up in full guard.
    How can I apply a fast double leg and end up in a tight side control?

    I have this problem too. I absolutely HATE having to break guard or giving them a chance to play guard game

    Im no wrestler (yet) but I will do my best to describe this technique one of my coaches always uses.

    Say you are taking the guy down on to your right side. When you pick up his legs make sure your left knee ends up BEHIND their knees when you land in a sort-of Captain Morgan position with both of their legs resting on your left thigh like a "shelf". Im really butchering this I know... maybe I can ask him to record a video for us.
