    Arm triangle from mount?

In the latest Fight Companion, Eddie was talking about finishing arm triangles from mount, as well as something called... "butterhooks"? (If I remembering it correctly.)

Are either of these shown in any of the MTS episodes? I don't recall seeing them.

    Thanks in advance!

butterfly hooks... instead of having your legs wrapped around the outside of your opponents legs (sometimes called grapevine)... your insteps/shoelaces are draped over the top of your opponents legs with your toes curled to hook around their inner thighs. Similar to how you would be in 3/4 mount, only your other foot is doing the same thing... hope that's helpful

Thanks dude, that makes sense. Any idea how to use those butterfly hooks to drive or finish the arm triangle? (Which seems to be what Eddie was suggesting was the finish - I think?)

The hooks were being used to help drive into the neck, without having to dismount like a normal arm triangle.

The end of A4 is in butter mount. Not only does it ad power to the choke but it also kills escapes
